DHL Express has added a new route between Hong Kong and Oceania to meet the growing demand.

The new route operates five times a week, using Boeing 777-200 freighters to travel between Hong Kong and Sydney.china air freight

It replaces the current Hong Kong Singapore Sydney route to meet the growth in freight volume between Hong Kong and Australia.

The cargo planes owned by Carlita Airlines used on this route will be operated by Tasman Cargo Airlines.

DHL stated in a press release, "The maximum load capacity of this cargo ship is 105 tons, which increases the customer's weekly total load capacity by over 500 tons."

In addition to providing services for imports to Australia, DHL also hopes that this service can transport Australian goods to various parts of Asia through its Hong Kong hub.

Andy Chiang, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of DHL Express Hong Kong and Macau, said, "Hong Kong, as an important regional logistics center, continues to maintain its strategic position and plays an important role in promoting trade flows in the Asia Pacific region.".

By introducing new direct flights to Sydney, we are strengthening our network, shortening transit times, and responding to the strong demand for cross-border trade. This strategic initiative enables our customers to enter the Oceania market faster, reaffirming DHL's commitment to continuously strengthening connectivity and promoting global trade.
