Starting from August 31st, the charges at the international maritime terminals in Guatemala will be raised

King Ocean Services announced that the Guatemalan terminal charges for all northbound and southbound goods departing from or transited through SAN Tomas, Guatemala will be adjusted.

This charge also applies to goods entering and leaving El Salvador via Guatemalan ports and will come into effect on August 31, 2025.

The updated fees are as follows: The cost of 20 'dry or dedicated equipment will increase from $250 to $285.00, the cost of 40' dry or dedicated equipment will increase from $250 to $285.00, and the cost of 45 'dry containers will increase from $250 to $285.00. The cost of a 40 'refrigerated container will be adjusted from $250 to $285.00.

These adjustments will apply to all public tariffs and service contract rates.
